Dear Abonnee,
A sunny Easter weekend is just around the corner. Extensive breakfasts, long beach or forest walks and time for family. A great time to also share news from the family association.
|
The first registrations for the family weekend on September 20 and 21, 2025 are already in! Will you sign up too? You can do so by sending an email to Jolanda (vfsalm@gmail.com) before July 15 (due to the number of rooms). The convocate for the membership meeting over the weekend will be sent by mail this week. Keep an eye on your mailbox to see the program.

We are looking for family photos for the archives. Do you have beautiful, historic family photos with a story? Of an important life moment such as birth, graduation or marriage? Or perhaps from the war? Then these are valuable additions to our rich family archive. You can send them digitally with details of who is in the picture to our archivist Carlos. He will then include them in the archive.
|
Have a nice Easter weekend 🐰 and warm greetings from the board,

From the archives
Easter is the most important feast of the church year, feast of resurrection and hope. Passover, the Jewish predecessor, commemorates the liberation from Pharaoh's Egypt. Easter bunnies, stollen and egg painting, the Passion, Bach and vacation days, there is all kinds of things in Easter, but above all, a sign of renewal and hope after dark times.
|
From the archives comes, fittingly, a simple wish for Easter: "We wish all a Happy Easter!" Signed greeting card for Easter by Reina van Selow (115.1), s.j., 1 piece. This piece was received from Henny Clay-van Selow.
