Now that it's getting colder in the Netherlands, the sunny family day already feels like a distant memory. Fortunately, you can look back at all the photos here and once again enjoy this wonderful day at the IJzeren Man.

Both online and in person at the IJzeren Man, we had a productive annual members meeting. During the meeting, we said goodbye to Donald Holtz (84,132) and Esther Holtz (84,1111) from the board. Roel Oosterwijk (117,222) is taking over the important role of treasurer from Esther in the association from now on.
|
Additionally, the meeting approved six new members: Dorien de Bruijn (79,1113), partner of Cyril Loosjes, and their daughter Linde Loosjes (79,11131); Felix Hamoen (88,1132), son of Gibbo Hamoen (88,113); Irene Bussemaker (118,223); and Antoine van der Meer, partner of the late Dirk Roeland (132,23). Welcome!

Hard copy of digital?
Starting this year, members need to indicate if they would like to continue receiving the blue booklet in hard copy. This can be done easily by sending an email to Jolanda (vfsalm@gmail.com).

Of course, everyone will still receive the blue booklet digitally. The convocation (the invitation to the annual family gathering) will continue to be sent by post.

Postage stamps have become more expensive again in the Netherlands, because less and less mail is being sent. And now, the mail that is sent mostly consists of printed materials—who even writes letters anymore?
