A weekend full of fun where we can reunite, catch up, and sometimes get to know each other even better. The preparations have already begun, and I can promise you it will be another fantastic event.

Searching for organizers!

On September 20 and 21, 2025, our family weekend will take place once again. The beautiful location has already been arranged, but the program still needs to be planned. Would you like to help with this? Or can you lead a fun workshop or group activity?

Lily joins the board
|
Starting this year, Lily Ferand-Oosterwijk (117,221) will be joining as a candidate board member. Until the next general meeting, she will be getting a behind-the-scenes look at the board’s activities, so that with the members' approval, she can become a permanent part of the team.

National archive
|
The CABR-archive has been made public and contains investigations into “wrong” Dutch citizens during the German occupation. There is significant interest in it, but so far, no information relevant to our family has been found.
|
|
Search access has been quickly restricted following concerns about privacy and accuracy. For more information about this period, you can refer to chapters 7 and 8 of our family book Geboortegrond.

From the archive
Albertine Nuysink (1872-1962) is a well-known figure from our archive and our family book Geboortegrond. She left behind letters, photos, an account book, and eventually a will.
|
Albertine (Tine) was the daughter of Johanna Salm and David Nuysink. After completing her HBS education, she pursued studies in chemistry and pharmacy, leading to a successful professional career. In her will, she bequeathed a fortune that enabled the establishment of the Nuysink Fund, dedicated to supporting the development of young family members—her explicit wish. Though Albertine had no children of her own, she has supported many in their growth, a legacy that continues to this day.

The archive also contains her personal confession of faith, though only the cover has been scanned. Her beliefs are certainly worth exploring—what might she have written?
